Russia and Poland take credit for vodka. T word vodka is a diminutive form from thr Russian work for water, voda. So vodka means little water.

Equal parts:

vodka

Irish Cream

Kahlua

Amaretto

Combine and pour as above.

 

2-3oz.(60-90ml) vodka

dash dry vermouth

olive or lemon twist

Stir the vodka and vermouth with a lot of ice quickly. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish.

 

1oz(30ml) vodka

1oz(30ml) peach schnapps

4oz.(120ml) orange juice

In a highball glass filed with ice, pour the ingredients in the order given and stir well.

1oz. (30ml) gin

1/4oz. (8ml) extra dry vermouth

1/4oz. (8ml) Pernod

1/4oz. (8ml) white creme de menthe

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. 

 

1/2oz.(15ml) vodka

1/2oz.(15ml) rum

1/2oz(15ml) tequila

1/2oz.(15ml) Triple Sec

1 oz.(30ml) bar mix

lemon slice 

Shake first six ingredients with ice and pour into a collins or high ball glass.  Add cola and garnish with lemon. Can also be strained and served without ice.

 

dash Angostura bitters 

Swirl the bitters around the inside of a chilled cocktail glass to coat. Add gin

 

1 tsp.(5ml) grenadine

1/2tsp.(2.5ml) cherry brandy

1/2oz.(15ml) cream

1 egg white 

Combine all of the ingrediens in a shaker with ice.  Shake vigorously and strain into a cocktail glass. To omit the egg white, increase the cream to 11/2 oz. (45ml).

3/4oz.(22ml) light rum

3/4oz.22ml) brandy

3/4oz.(22ml) Coinreau

11/2oz.(45ml) lemon juice

1/2 cup cracked ice

Combine in a shaker or blender. Strain into chilled cocktail glass.

11/2oz.(45ml) rum

1/2oz.(15ml) Cointreau or Triple Sec

1oz.(30ml) lime juice

1/2 cup strawberries(very ripe)

1/2 tsp.(2.5ml) sugar(super fine)

1 cup(250ml) cushed ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pour into a large stemmed glass. Garnish with a strawberry.

 

2oz.(60ml) light rum

1oz.(30ml) coconut cream

1oz.(30ml) Whipping cream

6oz.(180ml) fresh pineapple juice

1/2 cup crushed ice

In a blender, combine the first 5 ingredientgs. Blen until smooth then puor into a Collins or highball glass and garnish with fruit.

The Irish Monks brought whisky when they set out to covert the Scots to Christianity. In Ireland and Scotland it was called uisage beatha. Gaelic for water of life.

1oz.(30ml) blended whisky

2oz.(60ml) sour mix

maraschino cherry

orange slice

Combine whisky and sour mix in a shaker with cracked ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a sour glass, or serve with ice. Garnish with fruit

 

11/2oz.(45ml) Scotch

1oz.(30ml) Drambuie

In a chilled olk-fahioned glass filled with ice, stir the scotch and Drambuie together.

 

2oz.(60ml) blended whisky

splash or so of sweet or dry vermouth

dash Angostura bitters

maraschino cherry

Mix the liquids with ice then stran into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry.
